Security built into the architecture
These principles describe how the platform is built. They require nothing from you.
Authentication at the edge
Requests to your resources pass an edge gateway that identifies the caller and refuses the request when it can’t.
Separate database roles
Each service connects with its own database role and refuses to start if that role could bypass row-level security.
Single-use console tickets
Browser access to an instance console opens with a ticket that works exactly once.
Safe retries
Send an idempotency key with a write, and a retry with the same key returns the first result instead of creating a second resource.
Scope isolation
Resources live in tenant, subscription, project, and region scopes; access is evaluated against them.
Encrypted credentials
Cloud provider credentials are stored only in encrypted form.
